TielrodeThe project is located on the edge of the village, overlooking the ‘green pole’, a historically valuable landscape that must be protected in the future despite the increasing pressure of recent housing development plans. From this specific context, we create buildings that act as guardians for this pristine landscape overlooking the Durme. We build two compact, low volumes to limit the impact and install a tranquillity on the site. The volumes stand detached in the landscape, the greenery runs up to the facades in a fordable collective garden with an intimate character. In relation to the wider environment, the intervention breaks down into three strategic movements.
